Jamaica - July 01, 2008

It's official. We have 9 weeks until we leave on our 2-year all-expense-paid trip to Jamaica. Wow.

To quote the eloquent Martin Lawrence, "This shit just got real."

If this hasn't made sense up to this point, we're joining the Peace Corps. This might clarify things.

Could everyone who reads this do me a favor and comment below? I know who some of you are, but there are several hits on my sitemeter every few days that I don't recognize and it would mean a lot to hear from everyone. It doesn't have to be much, just "(So & So) here" or something like that. Thanks.

My daughter was at Bonnaroo last year and found your blog while searching for some additional photos to show me. She sent me a link thinking I would enjoy them as well.

Being a blog junkie, you have become one of my regulars. I've enjoyed your photos and also your bits of info on photography...and you and your wife are very refreshing to read.

Funny thing is everytime my daughter tells me of a show she recently went to, I read in your blog that you guys were there too!

Usually after viewing your pics, I have to re-enter your blog to see the next one or to read your entry, (?) so on your site meter, it may appear that I visit more than I actully do. :o)

Thanks for sharing your views!

wow. awesome. thanks so much for reading (and for the comment!).

sometimes you (as "blogger") wonder if people read this because they're your friends or because they're actually interested in half the crap you write about. so it's delightful to hear the latter every now and then. thank you. (i don't even think my mom reads this and she's on the internet all the time!)

(as for having to reenter the site name, if you come in through www.joshhunter.blogspot.com instead of just joshhunter.com, that wont happen. i dont know why it does that, but it does. give that a try. maybe save yourself some frustration!)

is your daughter going to bonnaroo-it-up again this year? we're gonna fit it in right before we head off to jamaica!

Hey B,
Thanks for introducing yourself (and for reading our blogs)!

Your daughter must have great taste...We try to get out to see/hear music while we're still in Nashville. I'm amazed at the breadth of music we've been able to enjoy.

My daugther will be at Bonnaroo this year. She will be working with an environmental group to help raise awareness and educate on the importance of recycling.

Thank you both for the warm welcome, and good luck on your journey with Peace Corps!
I look forward to reading about it!

God Bless.
